KNIGHT BLINDNESS
MY NEW RELEASE OUT JULY 21th
Given a choice between
the pleasant life you knew centuries ago or
the possibility of all you want in an
uncertain new world,
which would you choose?
Two men torn through time find
themselves in the modern but alien world.
Old enemies, one hunting the other,
one discovering love,
both fighting private battles to survive.
Which time period would you like to celebrate Christmas in?
Leave your answer and your email below for
a chance to win these great prizes.
I think a Regency Christmas would be great fun as long as I could come back to this time.

HI Sebella,
DeleteThank you for joining me. I can definitely see the attraction to the Regency Period. Some of my fave historical romance authors write that time period. But I agree with you, no matter what period of time we think of visiting, the key is: "can I come back?"
One of the fun things about writing time travels is: I can visit different times in history and be assured I'll get home:)
Chris
Hi Chris. I can't wait for Knight Blindness to come out. Thank you for participating in the BTGN Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
DeleteI'm getting excited about the new release too. I enjoyed writing it. I hope it is as enjoyable to read.
Chris
Can't wait to read Knight Blindness, it sounds great!
ReplyDeleteHI Joanne,
DeleteThank you. I do have fun with my time traveling characters.
Chris
Thank you for hosting another great Blog Hop!

Hi Laurie,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me again. I remember you have a Kindle. My new release, Knight Blindness, will have 5 free download days. July 27 and August 3 are two of them, in case you're interested. Of course, I hope you are:)
Chris
A period with poofy dressed, corsets, and homemade everything! yum! Thanks for the giveaway! My Christmas in July wish is for less stormy-rainy weather this summer. Kyla Patton- kamclauc AT gmail DOT com
ReplyDeleteHi Kyla,
DeleteHomemade everything sounds delish. I can do the puffy dresses, especially when I watch movies like The King and I. How beautiful Deborah Kerr is in it. I think I'll pass on the corsets though.
Chris
I'd like to celebrate Christmas in the colonial time period. So much was changing and shaping our nation, it had to be an exciting time. Can't wait to read "Knight Blindness". I love the new covers!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lenell,
DeleteThank you for joining me. Since you like the Colonial Period, if you ever get the chance, you should visit Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. What a great place and the area is just beautiful.
Chris
mmm in Greece!!! Back before Rome took over...even though it wasn't their holiday..lol!!

HI Nikki,
DeleteThank you for joining me. Greece had to be so remarkable to see and be a part of when it was in it's heyday. The sculptors, the philosophers, the artists, what a group to know and interact with.
Chris
I would choose the pleasant life of long ago
ReplyDeletevideoclimber(at)yahoo(dot)com
HI Tia,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me. I'm not sure when you mean. Whatever time I'd find myself in, I hope I wouldn't be someone's slave, which seems to be pretty common. The thought is cringe-worthy.
Chris
the future as long as i could come back just to see if its the same
ReplyDeletemeandi09@yahoo.com
Hi Jennifer,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me. I'm not sure what's braver, going back in time when you have an idea what to expect but still walk a dangerous path or venturing into the complete unknown that is the future. Hmm. Scary biz:)
Chris
I am happy with the present time, I like to see my kids faces Christmas morning.

Hi Susan,
DeleteThank you for joining me today. What a lovely comment. I can think of no better reason for staying right here.
Chris
I think I would like to go back to old highlander times in Scotland maybe in the 17-1800's for Christmas just once. My grandpa was so proud of being Scottish that all the things Scottish fascinate me. :) heather1974 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteHI Heather,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me. Scotland is such a lovely country. My husband and I have been twice. I can definitely understand your grandpa's love of it. The late 1700's were pretty rough times for the Scottish but the 1800's might not be as harsh to go back to.
Chris
I think I'd like to celebrate a Roarin' 20s Christmas in Chicago. I just think that it'd be a great party!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
jillynann(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Jillyn,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me today. I bet 1920's Chicago was the definition of a wickedly fun place. I'm a Chicago native and I can attest to how cook the city is now. Back in the real wild and woolly days of Al Capone and Bugs Moran, it must've been a major hoot.
Chris
I think a Victorian Christmas might be nice.
ReplyDeletemarlenebreakfield(at)yahoo(dot)com
Hi Marlene,
DeleteThank you for joining me. A Victorian Christmas does sound lovely on many levels. It conjures up lovely images. The book I've just started is set in Victorian England. I'm not sure if the time frame will include the holidays but we'll see:)
Chris
1800s in Scotland or Ireland :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome giveaway!

HI Cassandra,
DeleteThank you for talking with me and sharing your time travel fantasy trip. Scotland is such a lovely country, it's easy to imagine roaming the green countryside in a beautiful frothy dress with a handsome kilted fellow:)
Chris
Victorian would be interesting.
ReplyDeletebacchus76 at myself dot com
Hi Donnas,
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming and talking about your time travel fantasy. Victorian is interesting. The period conjures up both warm and charming images and also the dark ones of East End London.
Chris
I would like to celebrate Christmas in Vienna during the time period when everyone was taking the Grand Tour. Could have met some neat males, I bet.
ReplyDeleteJWIsley(at)aol(dot)com
Hi Joye,
DeleteThank you for coming today. Vienna. I've never been but my son has and loved it. I agree, going when the days of the Grand Tour was happening sounds like a lovely, happy experience. I can easily picture a ballroom with it's fair share of well dressed handsome men ready to lead you into a gorgeous waltz:)
Chris
I'd probably choose the beginning of 20th century, it's very interesting period of time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
swordlily_girl(at)yahoo(dot)com
HI Again Swordlily,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me again. The early 20th century was an intriguing time. Early cars, the switch from gas lamps to electric, the first really posh cruise liners. I love the photos from the time with all the ladies in pretty hats and lacy gloves.
Chris
Maybe the 1800s..or a time when Christmas meant family not presents! Thanks!
ReplyDeletekatieamanda1(at)yahoo(dot)com
HI Katie Amanda,
DeleteThank you for coming to visit me. A simpler time does seem to beckon to all of us lately. I know I get saddened by the commercialism. I see holiday displays as early as September and think--really???

ReplyDeleteHi Satchmo,
DeleteThank you for joining me today. A Victorian Christmas is the holiday time of choice so far with everyone. I'm getting a few others but the Victorian Era is leading. I must say, having read those classics as well, there is a romance to the period that charms in a special way.
Chris
Can I have an old fashioned Christmas with modern conveniences? I do love my hot showers. I think a proper Victorian Christmas would be fun, to see how it compares with the Dickens images.
ReplyDeletedancingcelt at gmail dot com
Hi Mer,
DeleteThank you for joining me. I am with you on the modern conveniences. I like my hot showers and running water, not to mention seeing at night with more power than a candle offers. The power goes out with some frequency up here in the winter and stumbling around with a candle is not fun.
A Victorian Christmas does sound intriguing.
Chris
I'm glad to celebrate it now! I wouldn't do well in the olden days with no modern conveniences, lol!!
ReplyDeletecc_clubbs at yahoo dot com
Hi Cindi,
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining me again today. We spoke a few months back, I believe on the Full Moon Bites site. I'm glad to be in these times. I enjoy the fantasy of going back through my characters but were it possible, I'd have to pass. I'm pretty attached to things like indoor plumbing and hot, running water, and electricity etc.
Chris
I would love to celebrate in the olden days. Things seemed simpler back then and not as congested.

HI Mel,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me. I think there's much to be said for wanting a simpler time. I doubt that will occur ever again, not with the rate of global communication and interaction. I suppose on various levels both lifestyles have merit.
Chris
I would love to celebrate in the roaring twenties!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping!
grapeapril75(AT)gmail,.com
HI April,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me today. The roaring twenties do have that devil may care sex appeal. I wouldn't want to stay there forever, but I'd like to have one night to visit some of the popular speakeasy's.
Chris
New Republic US. After the Rev war up to the 1840s or so. There were so many new things being discovered in science and agriculture.
ReplyDeleteelizabethingleerichards at gmail.com
Hi Elizabeth,
DeleteAmerica in it's early days of independence was probably quite a remarkable and exciting place.
Chris
1800's Scotland.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing excerpt & giveaway!

HI Book Addict,
DeleteScotland has been a very popular choice in answer to the time travel question. Such pretty countryside, the attraction is easy to see not to mention the curiosity after the Outlander series.
Chris
Thank you for the giveaway, I would have to the 70's when I grew up. Nothing beats the tinsil and garland, and huge rainbow lights, and the fake carboard chimney we had. And who can miss the orginal creepy elves on the shelf...
ReplyDeletetigerfly139@aol.com
HI Kary,
DeleteIt has been a long time since I've had a tree with tinsel. Growing up we lived in small apartments in Chicago so had a small tree but my grandma had a big one with bubble lights. I still think bubble lights are pretty neat.
Chris
Hi! Id love to go back to the victorian era. There ornaments were all special, handmade, each tree was unique and beautiful! And i always thoughts candles on a tree would be gorgeous! I love it! Thank you for the fun hop and giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteshadowluvs2read(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Shadow,
DeleteThank you for visiting with me again. We spoke a few months back when I was on tour. I asked everyone what special place they'd like to go and you said, Ireland.
The Victorian Era is the winning choice this time around, hands down.
Chris
I would like to go back in time to the first Christmas my great grandmother had with my great grandfather. That way I could meet some of the generations that were gone before I was born.
